Copic Colour Challenge 55

Having a bit of an emotional time of it at the moment, not quite sure whether it's just sibling rivalry or issues with disability but it's SO draining. I feel family time just doesn't exist any more because I am juggling things between the children all the time......hey ho!!!
Anyway, better late than never here's a card for this week's Copic Colour Challenge. I started my card yesterday but I just couldn't get a result I was happy with last night so it sat on my desk until after work this afternoon! Still not 100% happy, I find masculine cards so tricky...it looks rather bare.
This week's colours are;

I used the lovely Adam stamp from Toodles and Binks who are also our Sponsors this week.

Copic Colour Challnge #53

Well, over at Copic Colour Challenge our newest Design Team Members have been announced and we will all look forward to seeing their wonderful work next week! This week the colours are much bolder;

I ended up not really using the grey (although I did use C1 to add a bit of shadow on the blue wing and beak) it's not compulsory to use all three colours but I usually try to. Here's what I ended up with;

Grab your copics and join in the fun!

Playing Copic catch up!

Hello there, trying to play a bit of catch up here while I can. Had another hectic week with Statementing reviews, Physio and Occupational Therapy to squeeze in as well as work. We have all been full of coughs and colds, I am feeling rotten and on top of everything my mum was rushed back into hospital on Wednesday. Will things ever calm down!
Anyway, I didn't schedule this, there were a few technical issues and I have only just got around to blogging this week's DT card for the Copic Colour Challenge.
This week's colours are;

and here's what I came up with.

Eagerly waiting to see who is going to join us on the Design team, so watch this space!!!!!

Copic Colour Challenge #47

Hello every one, well my crafty "me time" is still not really going to plan and all I seem to actually do is make time for the DT card I have to do. My "Grand Desk Clearing" isn't going that well either, progress is slow, but at least it's progress!
Mum is still in hospital and the snow is still falling and still disrupting life here in Kent. At least the children's schools are open again and I have managed a few sessions at work in the Pre-school. Life is plodding along in it's hap-hazard way!
Anyway, here is the card I made for this week's Copic Colour Challenge;

And this week the colours are;

Now I struggled a bit with these colours as I didn't have any of them so I grabbed the closest I did had and set to work with the fabby Puddleduck Pothington stamp from Toodles and Binks!
(Sorry about the lighting, it was dark when I took the pics yesterday and it's darker and gloomier and snowing today so I don't expect to get any better results for a while!)
Pop over & join in the Copic Fun, yet another great sponsor so be in with a chance of some candy!

Copic Colour Challenge #46

Hi everyone!
I have a New Year's Resolution...to find my mojo!!!! Not sure I am on the right track yet but here is a card for this week's Copic Colour Challenge. We have a lovely colour combination this week, take a look:

As well as that, we have a fantastic sponsor so pop over and join in!

Here is my card! Now have you got a few squashed, out of shape or off centred blooms that you keep putting back in the pot? I know I have...so I popped one through an embossing folder and voila! Not 100% happy with it a smaller embossed pattern would work better but at least I didn't put the bloom back!LOL

Copic Colour Challenge # 43

My goodness, how quickly has Christmas snuck up upon us!!! Things are still unsettled here but I live in hope for a stress free Christmas...HO, HO, HO! My sister's op went ahead last week and she is now at home recovering. My mum had a two week stay in hospital with fears of her new kidney rejecting but came home last Thursday. This was rather short lived as yesterday they called her back in with yet more concerns so once again, she is stuck up in King's College, London...while I am full of cold and stuck in Kent! Oh well, that's they way it goes and I am completely helpless again!
With Chistmas and the silly season upon us there is no chance of finding my crafty mojo just yet I am afraid but I did however make a very basic attempt at this week's Copic Colour Challenge.
The colours are;

and here is my card;

Pop over and play along!

I had been asked to make a more traditional card so rumaging through my cutie stamps I found this old stamp by Anita and thought the colours might work quite well. I am fairly please with how it came out!

Copic Colour Challenge #37!

Trying so hard to find my mojo and start getting organised but the going is rather slow I am afraid! It's a catch 22 situation, I have a week off work...but have my two little (well not so little) monsters at home!LOL
Anyhow, I did actually manage to get a card made for the Copic Colour Challenge this week!
The colours are;
and here's what I came up with.
So grab your Copics and head on over to check out the challenge!

Copic Colour Challenge

Well life is calmer....for now. Things have thankfully settled down a bit fir the run up to Jack's 11+, which is two weeks today. I am hopeful that he will spend a bit of time with me going through a few maths and verbal reasoning questions...but HOPEFUL is the key word there. Jack seems to think that 2 weeks is a lifetime away!LOL

Anyway,I have had a card on my desk all week waiting to be completed, so today in between washing and tidying and sorting loads of flash cards for Amelia's speech & language work...I actually finished it and took a couple of piccies!

This card was made for this week's challenge over on the Copic Colour Challenge Blog.

This weeks colours are;

Not a comfortable combination for me I will happily admit, but still trying to find my mojo really doesn't help matters. Fingers crossed, things will continue to calm down a bit and my mojo will come flooding back...just in time for the Christmas rush...EEEK.

Gorjuss Copic Colour Challenge #28

Oh my....I had forgotten how little I seem to achieve in the school holidays. Keeping my sanity intact, or at least what little I have left, is a full time mission in itself. The only crafting I am managing is the odd DT card and even then they seem to sit on my desk for ages as I manage to grab a few minutes without interruptions. LOL...as I am sitting here typing Amelia wants me to build a camp, play schools, go in the garden, play this, do that......I am feeling rather drained tro say the least!
Anyway, eventually I managed to make a card for this week's Copic Colour Challenge which is sponsored by the Craft Barn this week...make sure you play along to be in with a chance of a £15 voucher.
This week the colours are;

Don't forget, you don't need to have the exact coplours or use all three, just the closest Copics that you have. Here is what I came up with.
Charm and spacer by Quixotic Paperie...love these butterflies, must get some more but when I get there I spend so much time dithering over all the choices! Go and check them out.
