A quick card!

One of Amelia's friends is 5 today so I made a quick card up using yet another of the CBC Big Challenges as inspiration. For this one you simply needed to make a card that included sewing of some sort, so I grabbed my sewing machine and put together a very quick card. Not really a combination of looks I would usually put together but I am quite pleased all the same!!!

Monday blues.

Goodness, doesn't the weekend fly by and yet another dull, drizzly Monday starts off the week. Kiddies have this week at school before half term-let's hope the weather improves a bit.

Managed to finish off the men's toppers I started yesterday but I need to make a card for one of Amelia's friends before I can start on any more CBC challenges!!! Will have a look and see what one I fancy trying next!

Slowly but surely!

In a very feeble attempt at joining in the challenges on CBC today I have made a few toppers. One of the challenges was to make 3 different cards for men!! Not really making many cards at the moment because of lack of space and everything needing to be packed away when the work eventually starts on the extension...so instead I made mostly toppers. I have only made 2 different one so far....the third design is still in pieces on my table.
Hopefully I can plod my way through a few more challenges as the week goes on...I have loads of ideas but will I get the time.....hmmmmm.

THE Big Challenge!!!

Well trying to throw myself back into crafting I am attempting the BIG challenge on Crafts by Caroyln. The first challenge was to create a card using either a buckle or shrink plastic. Although I love SP, time is so lilited so I chose the easy option a cut myself a few likkle buckles with a Quickutz die that has been neglected ever since I got it really!

Bad, bad blogger-slap my wrist!

Been missing in action I am afraid!!! Caught up in what life has to throw at me, a sucession of builders quotes, planning applications and paperwork for statementing, but I am pleased to say some things are at long last moving forward and I am still optimistically awaiting my crafty "me" time!!!
I have been busy knitting teddy bears and unfortunately my papercrafting has taken a nose dive, I have only made a few bits and bobs as I have needed them. Here are a few of the things I have actually manged to make!!
I am hoping to do of the challenges on Crafts by Carolyn...only managed the first one so far, but the night is young!
